Why do we get data?

Obtaining personal data is necessary for the Data Controller to fulfill a contract, where Data Subject is a concerned party, or to take a pre-contractual measure at the request of the Data Subject. Also for the scope of processing an order, issuing a taxable document and filing a claim in the online store www.hivet.sk. If the Data Subject does not provide personal data, it is not possible to close a contract.

What data do we collect?

Basic prerequisite for obtaining any information is Data Subject`s explicit consent to data processing. Data Controller collects data from Data Subjects in several ways, for example, via an online order or using electronic mail. Data is collected when creating an order, where the Data Subject provides:

  • name and surname, exact address including country (or address to be recorded on an invoice)
  • if buying as a business: business name, company ID and VAT ID, if the entity is registered as a VAT payer
  • optional additional addresses (in case of delivering the shipment to address other than the billing address)
  • telephone
  • e-mail

At each step, the Data Controller is governed by applicable legislation and Terms and Conditions.

How long do we keep personal data?

Data Controller authorized to keep personal data beyond the end of the original scope for the purposes of statistics and accounting.

How do we deal with them?

All data provided is stored pursuant to Act no. 122/2013 Z. z. as amended by later regulations on the protection of personal data. The Data Controller does not disclose, provide access to, hand over personal data to any other entities except the organizations who´s involvement is necessary to properly process the order.

Personal data of the Data Subject may be provided to third parties and intermediaries, entities cooperating with the Data Controller, which are shipping and parcel companies. The current list of these entities is as follows:

At the same time, the Data Controller undertakes that personal data will not be misused by a third party. Personal data may be used to create various statistics, but are used only for the internal purposes of the Data Controller. Importantly, it is not possible to obtain any personally identifiable data from such processing and all personal data are pseudonymized beforehand.

Where can I change, update, and remove my personal data?

How do we protect all your data?

The privacy of Data Subjects is very important to us. All orders placed on our site are stored in an e-commerce website plugin and protected by a security component, which ensures that all the information provided will be protected by the highest degree of protection.
